Waarom zijn we begonnen?
Het Is Menens is ontstaan uit de passie voor mode en duurzaamheid. We wilden een merk creëren dat bijdraagt aan een oplossing tegen Fast-Fashion en het overschot aan ingezamelde kleding in Nederland. Onze missie is om deze problemen aan te pakken en duurzame mode toegankelijk te maken voor iedereen!!
Why did we start?
Het Is Menens was born from a passion for fashion and sustainability. We wanted to create a brand that contributes to a solution to fast fashion and the surplus of collected clothing in the Netherlands. Our mission is to tackle these problems and make sustainable fashion accessible to everyone!
Voor wie is ons merk?
"Het is Menens" is er, zonder uitzonderingen, voor iedereen! Iedere generatie! Shop voor jezelf of je kids, je moeder of vader, oma of opa, wie dan ook! Ook leuk: verras een collega, beste vriend of vriendin of een kennis, met een item met passende tekst!
Who is our brand for?
"Het is Menens" is for everyone, without exception! Every generation! Shop for yourself or your kids, your mom or dad, grandma or grandpa, whoever! Also fun: surprise a colleague, best friend, or acquaintance with an item with a fitting message!
Wat betekent 'Menens' voor ons?
'Menens' staat voor onze serieuze toewijding aan duurzaamheid. Wij geloven in transparantie, eerlijkheid en het creëren van kledingstukken die een positieve impact hebben.
In samenwerking met Sympany kunnen wij dit project overeind zetten. Wij zijn op bezoek geweest om zo met eigen ogen te kunnen zien hoe veel kleding er wordt ingezameld. Vanuit daar hebben we onze allereerste collectie samengesteld.
What does 'Menens' mean to us?
'Menens' represents our serious commitment to sustainability. We believe in transparency, honesty, and creating garments that have a positive impact.
In collaboration with Sympany, we were able to launch this project. We visited the site to see firsthand how much clothing is collected. Based on that, we created our very first collection.
